Job Title: Business Operations Specialist
Job Description:

Business Operations Services (60% of the time)
- Analyze and improve business processes across purchasing, order fulfillment, inventory tracking, and vendor coordination to support the company’s wholesale jewelry and accessories operations.
- Evaluate operational workflows and implement process improvements to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and strengthen collaboration with the company’s dedicated manufacturing partner in China.
- Conduct cost and pricing analysis for materials and finished products, monitor competitor pricing, and update price lists to support vendor contract negotiations.
- Collect and interpret financial and operational data to prepare regular reports and forecasts for management decision-making.

Marketing and Consulting Services (30% of the time)
- Research U.S. retail market conditions and seasonal trends to identify sales opportunities and refine product and merchandising strategies for major retail partners (e.g., Urban Outfitters, TJ Maxx).
- Maintain accurate documentation of purchase orders, product information, and production status, and recommend new technologies or platforms to enhance recordkeeping and operational efficiency. -
Other (10% of the time)
Perform ad hoc research and operational projects related to supply chain, pricing, and vendor performance as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Information Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and G-Suite applications, with basic experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Familiarity with online platforms, 3PL systems, and cloud-based file management tools (e.g., Google Drive).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a creative mindset.
